Poser 7 crashes
I have contacted them and no reply, totally ignorant! What is even the point of having trials from PoserSoftware? So now, after the trial expires I will go back to my Poser 8. Not so with PoserSoftware, they only give advice after you have purchased their product. What gets me is with a trial or demo with most things you want to buy, including software, the company is more than helpful in giving one pre sales technical help. Everything else in P12 I am getting to know. It seems I am not going to get a ground (floor) plane to show, I have to have all my many P8 scenes (characters & objects) hanging in mid air? These are just basic settings. SreeD or OpenGL, PBuffer or Scene Window and any other settings tried, where it shows 'Texture Display' it ONLY goes up to 512 maximum, no more? Yes, I have checked Materials (Poser surface, and tried various settings, et). The magnet deformers are completely ignored - unknown/unimplemented sections are always skipped.įoot.Thanks for reply RedPhantom.
Poser 7 crashes update#
Björn has mentioned that an update will be out in a few months for R10 - but no definites on when. At first I thought it was 2 gadgets that Windows 7 was running that was causing the crashes. Im having issues with Poser 9 crashing during renders. As I told another user, when using R10 I don't do anything until the materials are finished loading completely (the outlines around them in the Material manager are done being removed) and that usually helps avoid crashing. July 2012 edited December 1969 in The Commons. R10 is very unstable concerning materials. Now when I try to start Poser 7 it crashes when it starts loading. I have Poser 7, and I copied the runtime folder from my old Poser 6 into the runtime in Poser 7 (yeah on hindsight that was stupid). I suspect it has something to do with the way DAZ implemented the deformers in V4.Ĭould be memory or C4D settings or iPP settings. March 2014 edited December 1969 in Poser Discussion.

It's only when I create a special CR2 that removes all of the magnets that I am able to load V4 into C4D with IPP. when trying to load V4 with IPP into C4D, things "hang" when IPP reaches all of the magnet props that are attached to V4. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg At some point you have too many external references with which to contend - and we get the brunt of the contentions thereby.įoot. Stick to all-text or migrate the format entirely over to binary. Traveling two paths is a sure path to becoming lost. :)Īs much as I don't want this - take one road or the other. But eF obviously is having difficulties maintaining coherence between the massive, complicated, bohemothine text format and this sleek binary one.
Poser 7 crashes pro#
I'll note that the idea of binary file formats is good - they are by far the smallest representation of data - sometimes even compressed further. Photo & Graphics tools downloads - Poser Pro by Smith Micro Software, Inc and many more programs are available for instant and free download. When my P12 trial ends, I will be purchasing but I will have to settle for Poser 11.3, at least for awhile.

All my Poser 8 scenes load OK, and the preview and renders look much better than P8. P12 seems to have settled down and is no longer crashing.
Poser 7 crashes full#
Didn' t any of the beta-testers use DAZ figures? Or were they instructed to use only Poser-certified stock content? The preview (SreeD) window can now go up to the full resolution 8192 or 16384 in OpenGL.

Wow! Have they screwed with the binary morphs! Whatever they did is just not good.
